Dr. Molly strikes again

Walker-Johnson Park

We went to Walker Johnson park in Urbandale this morning to get a little fresh air and exercise.  It was really pretty and there were lots of fun things to see and climb on.  We'll definitely be going back.  Mike was a champ and carried Max in the Bjorn the whole time.

Dr. Molly

Molly got a doctor's kit from Aunt Annie when Max was born and it continues to be one of her favorite toys. Chances are if you come to visit us you'll get a check up. She also likes to give her stuffed animals check ups. I caught these sweet moments the other day. Thankfully Cheesy Bear got a clean bill of health. I think I'll hold on to these pictures for her graduation from Harvard medical school.

Memorial day teaser

I have tons of pictures from our trip to Wichita but am having trouble getting them all to load. So, in the meantime here is a picture from my phone of me with two of my favorite guys.

Mother's Day 2012

This year's Mother's Day was very similar to last year in that we spent most of if outside working on the yard.  It was very low-key and we had fun.  I didn't take a single picture all weekend until right before we came in to put Molly to bed tonight, but these few perfectly sum up the weekend.

We have some new sod in our yard that needs to be watered each day and this crazy face likes to catch the water on her tongue.

We tried for a good picture of the three of us.  Here was attempt #1, Molly wasn't cooperating. 

Attempt #2, Molly looks better, but now Max looks angry. 

Third time's a charm!

I am so blessed to be a mother and I really believe it is what I was meant to do.  I love these two so much and their big brother in heaven.
